Scubbay junior has made Mensa
Very proud Scubbay's son has made the grade for Mensa. Top 1 percent in one group and top 7 in the next.
Im quite outspoken in my local forums and frankly it doesn't roll well with the "insiders" therefore I would like to open it to a broader audience.
The old man is very happy. Congratulations Stefan.

Congratulations Scubbay. Has your lad got "street/general" intelligence though? As in can boil and egg or wire a plug, stuff like that. A mate of mine has an IQ of 142 but can't figure either of these
Again, well done your lad

Im studying Mechanical Engineering and have been lucky enough to have been taught a lot by my Dad, including a lot of info and tricks with regards to subarus. I have what I would call a decent mechanical ability but have to bow down to my Dad on that one, would put me to shame. Im not your stereotypical high IQ nerd though, like to think I have a nice balanced ability!

How do they conduct the entry tests nowadays? Quite a few years ago my Dad was accepted for membership I believe and part of the junk they sent was an IQ test. I took it upon myself to fill it out and they wrote back saying that I'd scored very well and if I paid to have the results validated then I could be eligible to join.
I never did pay as I thought it might be part of the test, i.e to see how stupid I was paying up............
In all seriousness though I'd like to have another crack at the whip with it, with that in mind what is the criteria and testing?

Go onto their website, find a test centre and date that suits you, pay your £15, turn up, do the test and the results are posted out, really easy. The tests are supervised and strictly timed so you couldnt do them at home.

They've obviously changed things as I distinctly remember being able to perform a test at home and paying for it to be graded. Either way, well done
