Default BG52 ZKA DOES ANYBODY KNOW THIS CAR?!

Hey guys,

First post here so hello to everyone :-)

Friend of mine has agreed to purchase a sti 03 ppp with some nice cosmetic mods on there although I feel its a bit rich pricewise at £9100.

Any comments on price appreciated?!

And any other comments about the car should anyone know details or know the history of it?!

Link to the car -
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=270670310638

Thanks !

Yeah i thought around £8000/ £8300 would be fair.

Do you think it would be worth the £9100 with all the mods and overall condition?

Does look stunning and has some really nice touches but the question is do the extra bits and pieces warrant £9100?!

9100 is 54 plate territory and they are better cars full stop

NI car sold last year, was obsessively looked after...and actually deserves the "mint" tag.......simply stunning and as the ad says the actual car that Clarkson used to demo on Top Gear.......will try and find out the sale price etc from last year FYI

It is a bit rich, but just looked at the link it was a auction, so its worth what the bidder is prepared to pay £9100 is the price set by the buyer not the seller, did he view it? think he may have over estimated on this one but looks a clean car but would be hard to judge if its worth the extra 1-1.5k over price with out viewing it

as above its a bit steep also considering its been so well looked after you think they would have had a remap to go with the full decat.

obviously that one was to somebody, but im a classic man so wouldnt even consider a newage, maybe buy a hatch one day, but it will be one with a forged build..

Cheers guys good comments.

Just hard to work out whether its worth the extra or not over a standard sti. (Approx 7500 for one with similar miles)

Although this does also have the ppp pack but not to sure how much that adds to the value...

For what its worth, the advert appears to have been written by someone who is actually capable of putting together a decent sentence, and its always been my experience that a good advert (generally) means a decent car.

Not always, but most of the time. I'd certainly say the car might be worth a look.

Parr, fella, did you not watch it at all?
Didnt you know that some of the clips are recorded months in advance of the show being recorded, not as if they would be allowed to keep the car that long!
But for reference, having seen the car in the flesh, and also by watching the whole clip linked, it is the same car. BG52ZKA.

Was'nt this car featured in Total Impreza magazine a few months back???, remember seeing it around my friends house. Had a fair few pennies spent on it, I'd pay over the odds for the 'Right' car!!

Cheers! Yeah, it was in Total Impreza and Modified Motors magazines, got both mags given to me when I got it. The guy who spent the money and time on it is scoobie-rick who is on here!

An extra grand or so is nothing when you see the difference in standard of this one and other the same age or even newer!
