Anyone know what the BHP of a 2 litre turbo classic is?....Loads of ads say 280 bhp but parkers review says 214?

It all depends on what model it is, for example :-

MY94 UK turbo 2000 - MY98 UK turbo 2000, 208bhp
MY99-00 UK turbo 2000, 215bhp.
P1, 276bhp
22B type UK, 276bhp

JDM cars are different, the MY93/94 WRX saloons were 237bhp (240ps)
JDM MY 95/96 WRX saloons were 257bhp (260ps)
JDM wagons for this period were only 220ps or 218bhp

Do you have the exact model your after to hand? note that 276bhp (280ps) is the highest output on any classic, this was first achieved by the version 3 STI with a 280ps output, the version 2 had 275ps, and the original STI had 250ps.

There is a lot to choose from

215bhp then, 250bhp (super unleaded) or 237bhp (unleaded but not recommended) on a PPP'd car of this age.
