Default show me your tinted rear newage lights

hello every 1 seen as tho im really considering keeping the bug sti, i was thinking of ideas for the rear lights? im in 2 minds as to leave em standard or tint them with them being prodrive 1s
here are the 1s on my classic at the mo. think this is what we all do.


any 1 got tinted rears on there newage?

let the modding begin again

so there is no 1 with differant rear lights than standard?

that looks quite nice.. did you put a light tint over the clear bit then laquer the full light? thats what i did with the classic lights. i use a black base coat instead of tint spray 2.
i also thinkthe clear bit on the bugs are slightly bigger than on the blob

I can tint the rearlights, in my pics there are my headlights which i have tinted, they dont have the black look they actually look proffessionally tinted from factory. Il be adding these to my online store in the coming weeks

what sort of price do you charge? if ya dont mind me asking? i have tinted a fair few sets of lights my self. all profesionally done via air compressor and gun. i tend to use the colour VW black magic from the mk4 golf in stead of the cheap tint spray. a couple of light coats and then laquer them
you will be able to shave in them... here my old classic wagon, not to somes taste i no

I bought some tint film on ebay, was very easy to cut around the clear part of the light as the light has a groove that the knife slipped into.

rapid sti.. check my rear view pics in my garage.. i have generation 3 rear lights.. slightly difo but look standard yet crystal

hi mate, chekin pm now.. as for the lights, they are aftermarket ones called generation 3 tail lights.. got them from a local shop in leeds.. they are a cross between blob /hawk rear lights for the bugeye

lol mate its simply a case of going on pistonheads and clicking delete on the ad you know its the right thing to do im in hudds tonight mate as i got court in the morning but will try get down tomorrow if i still have my freedom if not i,ll send you a V,O PS, fu*k anyone in another country i wouldnt even entertain it. its your car keep it man!!!

nah you should be ok in court fingers crossed for ya. i think im going to start a project thread as theres a few bits i'd like to crack on with respraying the front bumper and bonnet to start with

the garage is all clean and waiting for her to come home once i finished repairing oli's front bumper.
