Getting one fitted next year and interested in how they fit in with the dash ,is there any cutting out to be done ?
Best one to get is one that dodges the dash.
Think about where you are going to mount the harnesses
Not all Harness bars work with all cages
Sometimes you can mount the harnesses on the cage
I will see if I can dig some pics out

I chose a safety devices cage as they are far more substantial and approved for motorsport use....the tubing used is bigger in diameter and you have to weld boxes to the floor to fit rather than just bolting the cage through the cars floorpan....scoobyclinic are stockists and offer fitting.
Don't use the dash dodger type cage if you plan to do any form of MSA regulated motorsport that requires a roll cage. There has been a huge clampdown on this type of cage recently as they don't comply with the MSA rules.
In rallying there have been many cases of crews not being allowed to start if the cage is remotely like those pictured above. The only exception being if the cage design has been tested to an approved loading and has a certificate to prove it passed.

Group n cars have weld in sectional cages....not bolt in cages with no certificate....someone did mention to me that the new design cusco safety 21 cages were fia approved but think they went through the dash.still not competent enough for group n specs though surely ?
