Default Best oil for my 99 classic uk

Had different advice on this so I would just to clear the matter up as the car is in for service at the end of the month.
The car has fully synthetic oil in at the minute, not sure of the grade unless I go through the old receipts, I'm guessing it needs fully synthetic but which make as I know some are thinner than others?

Thanks in advance, lee.

Dont drop below a 5w40, so no thinner than a 5 cold or a 40 hot, gives you some choices, a 10w50 though can be a little thick in winter, a 10w40 and a 5w40, all fully synthetic.
