Just a Thanks to ScoobyClinic and anyone who is thinking about using them
Just wanted to say how well ScoobyClinic have treated my car and myself throughout a 5 week power upgrade, engine - rebuild, suspension upgrade and brake upgrade.
Kev, James, Adam, Pat and the test pilot (who I didnt get his name), I want to thank for the advice, help and professional work that they have carried out on my hatchback, rebuilding the engine with forged pistons, upgrading the power, sorting out my suspension and braking system and generally making sure I dont panic about my car.
As you would about your beloved scoob - you panic when its in the hands of people you dont really know, undergoing major changes to engine, braking and suspension.
I found the clinic guys to be true gentlemen.
A million emails to Kev at the clinic got prompt replies - giving honest, good advice that saved me money, gave me what I wanted and steered me in the right direction ensuring I got a car upgrade that was 100% right.
I have no doubt whatsoever to recommend these guys. They have been brilliant to say the least and VERY patient with me but the end result was well worth it. Loving the power upgrade guys.
PS. Get well soon James, hope the leg will be as good as new and to Pat who tuned my car, hope that foot gets sorted mate
oh, and if I dont speak to you before the end of the year, have a merry xmas and a great 2011 guys. My hat goes off to ScoobyClinic.
Very Best Regards

So what did they do to the engine?
What was upgraded / changed / improved ?
What power / torque are you now making ?
Did you go for one of their billet turbos ?

Engine rebuilt with Mahle forged pistons, they fitted my carbon spoiler, shovelled on some whiteline rear ARB/bushes, gaskets, fluids, 2 oil changes during run-in, EcuTek remap, a new IC (think it was the TMIC) from a hatch sti that done 6k miles (so I saved a load from buying new), shovelled some STI brembos on from the same car that done 6k (less than half price from new and they fitted em) a VF34, intake pipe, de-catted down and centre pipes and some other bits I cant remember without digging out my shopping list.
The readout showed between 360-370lb per foot.
Its popping flames when pushed hard, which is nice coz it lights up the road for those drivers behind who have difficulty seeing in the dark and sounds loooovveeely.
Oh, and they removed my limiter of 130mph on the stock ecu... Course I would never went anywhere near that on the drive home....
All in all, Im very pleased that they have made my car a much safer car. Power is there for safer driving.... Safety is a first of course.
Time to save up for next years upgrades

Really impressed with the body work done on my car as it looks better than when i 1st brought the car yrs back. I have used other garages for body work & ended up with a 2 tone. Agreed on email replies as they have always replied promptly to my enquiries which i assure you was almost every day lol.

Hi,
No, Carls scoob has a VF43 on it, he has future proofed his bottom end ready for a bigger turbo next year, heres looking forward to the SC46 Billet.
Carl wins this years e mail competition by far, 59 E mails were received and dealt with in just 4 weeks.
Glad you are happy with the result, when our test driver states "I want one of those" you know its good.
cheers
Kev
