Scoobyclinic are advertising the sc360 turbo on ebay, in the write up they say that 428 bhp has been achieved with supporting mods, err... can anyone confirm what these mods are ?

Best to ask Kev at SC mate.

I'd imagine that figure was obtained with a bit off of meth though as it's clearly being sold as a 350bhp turbo and that figure would usually reflect appropriate mods on normal pump fuel.

Best wi

On pump fuel I reckon you're going to need a bigger blower! Best to be conservative with estimates on turbos and not assume that your car will return a figure at the top end of the spectrum. If you change from your current set up only to end up with one that produces no more power, you'll probably deem it poor value for money!

Do you have an STi or WRX btw, as you're at the stage where if you have non forged internals your mapper would have to turn the wick down to prevent something from going pop. There is little point in getting a bigger turbo if you're only going to run it at significantly less than its potential for fear of something breaking something, as you'll then be getting the negative effects of a bigger blower without enjoying the positive side of the equation IYSWIM.

Go for the SC46, will make you power goals with ease and have some to spare if you feel like winding it up some more later.

We have fitted and mapped one an RB320 recently, it was no less responsive than the stock VF43 and made 402bhp and 430lbft on a top mount.
