Worst news gutted!!!!
Engine started rattling from bottom end about a two months ago so out with the engine and strip it down. True enough the rod had spun on the bearing. So looked for a crankshaft and found one on ebay it had only done 800 miles and it was a v9 nitrated crank. So i bought it for a decent price and was hoping all was good. Before I bought it the guy told me it was a centre thrust which was what I needed for my cdb. When It came to fitting it a friend that is building it for said he didnt think it fitted well. He rang up someone and gave them the part number yes it was a rear thrust just what I didnt need. So I send my block off to enginetuner to get machined to take a rear thrust crank. I get it back a week and a half later. I search for some new main bearings and realise there are two different sizes 52mm and 60mm I didnt know this so sure enough I measure my block and the crank and realise my crank is 60mm and my block is 52mm So all this what a waste of time and money machining the block I cant beleive it back to square 1 I feel like stripping it now its been striped about two months now and ive got nowhere its got loads of goodies aswell but dont know what to do- cdb, 6spd box, 550inj, vf35, full hayward and scott decat exhaust, cossie pistons, h sec conrods, v9 nitrated crankshaft car in my pic loads more!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats why its better letting people who know what there doing do this kind of work. There is so many small diffrences once inside the engine. My car is runnin spot on at 370 hp and 2nd map 400hp for track on a standard v4 engine, but over the winter im goin to save some cash up and get enginetuner to build me one of his 2.1 strokers good for 500hp for £2.2k. i'm quite good with spanners but i think it will be cheaper and quicker letting the experts do it....
