Me car awaiting some new Idlers
I have a MY99 V5 STI.
Went in dofor its second Cambelt change today and was told I needed some new Idlers. Which to be honest isn't a surprise. As its on just over 70k now.
When I brought her 3 years ago, I asked if they had changed the belt and they said yes. But on the safe side I did it again and replaced the tensioner.
But speaking with the mechanic the salesmen was prob right as he said that one if the idlers looks new and in good nick compared to the other one. But it dosn't make a difference as its better for peace of mind.
I've circled the ones which need replacing. Originalily they where obtaining the parts from the dealer but at £290 + vat seemed a lot. And have got them form Graham Goode Racing for a lot cheaper lol.
