Default not happy with insurance quotes

male 31 years old 3 points 5 years ncb on a S plate sti and they are wanting £1100

not amused with that at all,it would cost me about the same to insure a m3 or a v8 range rover that costs more than 4 times as much as the scoob

Yep, Gary's the man at Keith Michaels - £420 with 9 years ncb for a much modded Sti, admittedly I do live in the middle of nowhere which helps

you need to to speak to Gary directly the moment you speak to someone else about your quote or submit a internet quote request, that person then deals with you and gary cant do anything to help.

Yes you need to ring Keith Michaels and speak to Gary himself - he can be hard to get hold of, but worth persevering.

I was dreading my renewal but in the end it only went up around £100 or so 700 to 800 and that is with an outstanding total loss claim going through. Not my fault but still outstanding all the same. I'm 31 9 years ncb and that is on a 98 Type R with exhaust declared. Try Greeenlight Insurance I highly recommend them.

You're ancient though Steve, and changing gear like your nana isn't a second driver.

As above though, give Gary a ring.

When i was shopping around considering what car to get, most quotes where double for a 1998 Sti TypeR than for an RB320 at double the value

If you live in an area with high personal injury claims then it is going to be hard getting a good quote these days.

And they wonder why so many people are now driving without insurance? Ive said it before and Ill say it again until this suing and crash for cash nonsense is stamped out I can see more and more people saying shove the insurance, and if I copy some plates I wont get stopped either.

My insurance was double for my scoob here than when I lived in Spain. I was looking at the same price for my scoob in England that I paid for a brand new Mercedes Viano used as a luxury taxi there. As you said ridiculous.

Try having an accident if you're not insured. Who do you think will be getting the bill?

With so much PI it's an incentive to make sure you're insured.

try making a claim with a-plan and then see how slow they are at getting back to you.
