In the throes of renewing my insurance – Admiral are up 38% on last year so have been forced to shop around. A recent thread recommended Liverpool Victoria and they have come at less than £100 for my renewal quote and that includes potential modifications to exhaust, engine management system etc. With the track day coming up at Knockhill this Saturday and the cost of one-off insurance quite pricey (e.g. £135 for a net £12k of cover) have specifically asked about cover whilst on an official Owners Club track day. This has probably been discussed to death before so apologies in advance. Upshot is that L Victoria will cover at no additional charge provided they are advised in advance of each event and it is an official Owners Meeting, there is no racing, timing, usual stuff. They do reserve the right to withhold such cover at any future date which is why you need to seek an OK in advance.

Any views?

Cheers

Alan
