Default Switchable Polar Performance ECU??

I've got a MY95 V2 '555' STI with a Polar Performance chipped ecu. Is there any way in which I could wire it up to switch between maps?

I understand there is a wire that is cut for the new chip to increase the factory settings, could this be linked to a switch, and could it be changed on the move??

Thanks for any help

yes it can be linked to switch as for changing on the move i don't know, when i had mine on a switch i only changed it with the engine off.

On the bottom of the ecu you will see a resistor that will have been cut or unsoldered, I think its called "J1". Connect a wire to the end of this and run through a switch back to were the resistor was connected on the circuit board. I have done this with mine I also switch mine while on the move and so far havent had any problems.

You can replace the J1 link with a switch but you cannot switch over on the move. You must be standstill and engine off.

Scott advised me not to switch it on the move...

He said best to be engine off but he thought it 'should' be okay stationary.
