2nd Hand K-Sport Brake Values
Hey all,
Firstly this isnt a sly for sale ad, merely trying to gauge a value.
I have the k-sport 8 pot front and 6 pot rear setup, running 330mm discs and braided lines on my Bugeye STi.
I am thinking of selling them for one reason or another, but have no idea what sort of 2nd hand value these hold (as it will determine if they are worth selling).
I paid around 1700 for both kits, but i know the prices have come down recently.
So any input or opinions is welcome!
Many Thanks

I always go on 50% of the orginal value as a rule of thumb when looking to buy 2nd hand.
But with brakes it all depends on the condition of the calipers(No sticking pistions),pads and discs

jayallen - thanks for the advice, tho this is defo not a for sale thread! Maybe we need a 'whats it worth' section to help people out?
dexster - mine have the k-sport pads (which i didnt think were too bad!), and have less than 5k miles on them, so in good condition i would say. Thanks for the info!!!

I just had a few scarey moments when having to slow down from motor way speeds ie not much slowing down, worked really well at slower speeds but decided an upgraded pad was the way forward and have never had problems since

C8 - Looking at running in a race series that does not allow uprated callipers, hence why i might be selling. Otherwise i cant fault the k-sports.
i was in the same position as you, wanting AP's etc, but could have both front and rear k-sports for the same price as just front AP's, so went for them. Have been very good so far, i think unless your doing hardcore competition you wouldnt notice any advantage of the AP's.
