Red face EU proposals to change MOT - respond here

Fancy the idea of roadside MOTs, compulsory re-testing when a vehicle changes ownership or is modified in any way?

Nor me. Please take a minute to respond...

I've got no problems with any of it.

It will get a lot of unfit and boarderline vehicles off the road. It will stop people (like your barryboy crew) making stupid senseless, so called modifications.

If every time i buy a new car it comes with a years ticket, great.

If every time i sell a car i have to mot it, no problem, i would never knowingly sell an unroad worthy vehicle anyway, and find they sell better with 12 months on them.

I would be happy to see the mot made more stringent. I spend a lot of money keeping my car running in good order but I know a lot of other people don't give a monkeys and keep things on the bare minimum, running bald tyres etc.

Driving a car is a privilege not a right but a fair few people seem to have forgotten that.
