Been reading the WYorks emails this week, and wanted to reply but cant from down here. Sounds like you had a great time on Sunday Defo be at the next one, though still dont know if it will be in a Scoob.
BOB T - with regards meeting for NM5 we should try and arrange for all of us to convoy over there. The Yorkshire chaps could drive through Skippo, meet you, and then onto Prestons (Colne). What do you think Barry? I will plan something later this month via our email. Obviously it depends whether I have the Scoob then, or if I am driving with Dales from Burnley.

What do I think? I think your geography is terrible.
The assembly point for NM5 is about 15 mins from where I live. Skipton is about an hour in the opposite direction!
Note W.Yorks is next to Saddleworth, N.Yorks is next to E.Lancs and Cumbria.
Last NMn we met up sensibly en route, ie. in the direction we wanted to go in, at the transmitter J22 of M62, where we met Sunday. However, this week we discovered that the mast stops the car key fob from transmitting, presumably by drowning out its signal, and we had to push Bal's car down the hill until it was far enough away to work!! Mine worked OK in the car, Steve and MTR used the manual key pad.
So a different meet point TBA, where the roads from Leeds and Bradford are heading towards Manchester is most likely, maybe nearer Rochdale would suit the majority.
Suggestions from those who can read a map are welcome.
I'll continue this on the e-group OK?
