Default head gasket gone

hi everyone the head gasket on my 98 import wrx went today so took it to the local garage and they quoted me roughly 800 to 900 pound to fix and i just wondered does this sound about right cus i cant really afford it at the min being out of work. Also wondered if anyones interested in buying the car cheap as it is could do with something cheaper at the min can email pics if requested. any advice is welcome thanx guys.

sounds about right mate with the parts and head skimming etc,got any pic's of the car mate?

Not got loads of mods hks fmic, full exhaust, new front discs calipers done less than 3k fitted by scoobyclinic, hks filter, sard boost gauge , vf22 turbo, open to offers on the price also only 67k on the clock.

Speak to Harvey on here as I've seen him quote a lot less than £800-900 for a head gasket job. Plus he's one of the well respected specialists on here
