Default Changing UK clocks to STI?

Anyone done or know the required modifications to make STI clocks work in a UK classic?

AFAIK, it's a straight swap so long as you get the short bit of loom from the clocks and use clocks from whatever phase your car is.

ie: 97/98 cars use V3/4, 99/00 cars use V5/5

What year classic is it ? ,97- 2000 as said above straight plug in,earlier cable driven speedo's may need a wiring mod fixed on the back of the speedo ,and a mph label to cover the kmh.

the clock are v4 as is the car, all the plugs on the back are the same and the clocks plug straight in, however the wiring is different therefore they dont actually work properly. What does the small sub loom do? I dont have one

small sub loom has the correct pin outs so everything works as it should,

if you compate the clocks back to back you will see that lives/earths etc are in different positions

i have a set of v4 sti clocks complete with loom for sale for anyone interested, speed convertor already soldered into the loom and clocks are marked in mph.
if interested drop me a pm.

i tried to rewire mine by following the rear of the clocks

gave it up as a bad job in the end, think you will find different colour wires on the two small looms
