Your talking about the rev limit light? well not a rev limit, a shift light on the rev counter.
Its pretty easy, you move the dial, set where you want it, leave it alone when your there and it then resets and that it done.

ideally, if you have a rr graph then it makes thing easier. to set it higher than your max bhp rpm would be a waste of time. for your best performance you could hope for you need to be changing gear so when the revs drop for the next gear you are already on the rpm for your max tq. its not too often i hit the rev light indicator anyway, but there are occasions lol.

seems too low tbh, especially on the more revvy 2.0, try going for a run tonight in 3rd or 4th, boot it, when it starts to pull on boost and really gather pace then thats pretty much where your max tq is, then when you feel the gear reaching its limit (not redlining btw) then that will pretty much be your max bhp, so then set it inbetween. at a guess i reckon about 6000- 6500 rpm on a 2.0 but its down to your preference.

you set the number to the rev you want then wait a minust and when you see -- you then turn it to activate the sound (if required)

I have mine set to 7,500rpm I think?.

When my other half drives it I set it to 4,000rpm not my request.

I set it to 3,500 rpm when my Mum has to drive it as she left it in 3rd gear doing 70mph on the motorway for a bit once when she had to drive my car home after having a couple of beers at a family function .
