0-60 in 3.5
0-93.33 in 7.54 that was at 1/8th mile
0-122.5 in 11.64 that was at the 1/4

Thats with 2.5 conversion, MD321T, simtec, 740 injectors... You get the picture

Is there a way to figure out 0-60 from 1/4 mile timing slip?

There's a site somewhere in which you enter your bhp, and, iirc, torque and weight of the car, and if it's rwd, fwd or awd, and it calculates it for you.

Mine came out at sub 4 seconds, but I'm not saying exactly what.

Well I've just put the details of my MY04 Spec C Motorsport at it's current tuning state, I've copied and pasted it below. But it is worth remembering that you would have to really abuse the clutch to achieve these figures and would probably need LC as well.

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 350
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1310
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 271.46
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.86
0 - 100 (Secs) : 9.96
60 - 100 (Secs) : 6.09
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.51
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 112.10
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.11
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 115.87

And with it's upcoming mapping session with Bob Rawle it achieves the following:

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 380
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1310
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 294.73
0 - 60 (Secs) : 3.63
0 - 100 (Secs) : 9.24
60 - 100 (Secs) : 5.61
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.25
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 115.13
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.85
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 119.04

to go 1 second quicker you need 600BHP

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 600
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1250
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 487.71
0 - 60 (Secs) : 2.77
0 - 100 (Secs) : 6.46
60 - 100 (Secs) : 3.69
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.17
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 131.51
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 10.77
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 136.14

to do a 10.2 quarter mile you need 850bhp

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 850
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1250
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 690.92
0 - 60 (Secs) : 2.62
0 - 100 (Secs) : 4.92
60 - 100 (Secs) : 2.30
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 10.29
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 148.47
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 9.89
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 153.84

to do 9.2 quarter mile you need 1175bhp

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 1175
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1250
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 955.09
0 - 60 (Secs) : 2.50
0 - 100 (Secs) : 4.05
60 - 100 (Secs) : 1.55
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 9.23
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 162.97
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 8.83
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 169.56

Quite a law of diminished returns when you are chasing tenths or even hundredeths!!!!

TBH you have to draw the line somewhere and I think 380bhp should be enough (until you get complacent or bored that is), if that happens then I'll probably look at a Litchfield LM420 turbo.

But in reality on the road there is very little difference between 300bhp and 400bhp, if you had the same gearing you wouldn't just pull away like crazy like you see in The Fast & The Furious.

Calcs are fairly pointless.

Car doesn't move without a driver + far too many other variables such as drivetrain losses, grip available, gear ratios etc.

Interesting actual results from a timed event a few years back. Most cars were modified. Am sure most would be quicker on calc racing

What's your 0-60 time bob'5, best, worst, on the strip. Also what's your best worst with your super duper device you sell.

Only ever had it timed the once and the results are on my previous post. I suspect it would have done a 3.5s on a good launch. My launches are always fairly consistent.

Never Pbox'd the Impreza and it is now being broken.

Pbox'd the 911 once and that was a very soft 3.9s 0-60mph, 60-130mph in 8.4s and 60-100mph in 3.9s. New rubber now fitted. Use the 60-130mph times to benchmark mods/shifting.

Quick Reply: 0-60 times people???
