It is with GREAT pleasure that I can announce Listers as the supplier of the car and their unquestionable experience and expertise for the ScoobyNet attempt to set the Guinness World Distance Record for driving a car sideways.

This is a HUGE bonus for the attempt as Listers bring with then such enormous support, technology and resources. They are also a great bunch of guys.

Listers were without doubt the number one choice and I am thrilled to have them onboard.

The amount of support we have now is mind-blowing, it looks like the only thing that can go wrong is me!!!! *gulp*

All the best

Simon

Hi Matt

Unfortunately it is very unlikely that we will be able to have any spectators

I am gutted about that, but MIRA have very strict regulations with regard to that sort of thing.

To be honest I think the only spectators will be the sponsors and possible a VERY small selection of guests.

There will be plenty of coverage though and we will be releasing video footage on the ScoobyNews CD along with a complete write up of the whole attempt and the huge amount of support that has been necessary to get this far.

There is also a chance that it will be on Top Gear / other TV programs.

All the best

Simon

Wink

I hope it's a 'proper Scoob' and not one of them 'Subaru Corolla Turbos'

Its good to see Listers supporting our cause, especially after the stick dished out after Oulton Park. They are an excellent business run by true enthusiasts.
