It is with GREAT pleasure that I can announce Listers as the supplier of the car and their unquestionable experience and expertise for the ScoobyNet attempt to set the Guinness World Distance Record for driving a car sideways.

This is a HUGE bonus for the attempt as Listers bring with then such enormous support, technology and resources. They are also a great bunch of guys.

Listers were without doubt the number one choice and I am thrilled to have them onboard.

The amount of support we have now is mind-blowing, it looks like the only thing that can go wrong is me!!!! *gulp* http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

All the best

Hi Matt

Unfortunately it is very unlikely that we will be able to have any spectators http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

I am gutted about that, but MIRA have very strict regulations with regard to that sort of thing.

To be honest I think the only spectators will be the sponsors and possible a VERY small selection of guests.

There will be plenty of coverage though and we will be releasing video footage on the ScoobyNews CD along with a complete write up of the whole attempt and the huge amount of support that has been necessary to get this far.

There is also a chance that it will be on Top Gear / other TV programs.

All the best

Simon

I hope it's a 'proper Scoob' and not one of them 'Subaru Corolla Turbos' http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Its good to see Listers supporting our cause, especially after the stick dished out after Oulton Park. They are an excellent business run by true enthusiasts.
