Forrester exhaust parts..are they interchangable with Impreza parts?

Forrester exhaust parts..are they interchangable with Impreza parts?
Hi,
My mate has a Fozzy 2.5XT and was asking about tuning and exhaust options on it.
the filters I know are the same but unsure about the exhaust..I am pretty sure it consists of the same Downpipe, 2nd Cat, centre and backbox as Impreza 2.5 ( I think ) but have a feeling that there's a difference in the backbox ie an Impreza is too short for its hangers or something.
Anyone help?

You're right, the Impreza rear boxes can be made to fit with a bit of hanger tweeking, but they do come up short...
Hayward & Scott do some lovely pipes for the Forester though!
