hi all just some questions about the vf23 might be able to get hold of 1 for a decent price so here goes

are they a straight swap for a td04 (bug wrx) its off a 97 sti i believe
are they roller bearing
how do they spool compared to tdo4
what power am i looking at with correct supporting mods
and would it be easy enough to get hold of oil,coolent pipes and actuator

should come with bits to do a straight swap and i made 350/343 on mine with fmic fuel pump simtek etc spooled quick great std turbo tbh

mine made 324bhp at 1.3 bar with supporting mods. u will have to change the top oil feed bolt an the oil feed bolt on the side of the engine

I had one on my 98 sti, with simtek and supportin mods, it made 345 hp, and it spools really good. Iirc it spools a bit quicker than the td-04. Still have it, was goin to advertise it but cant as im not payed up, so will advertise it elsewhere. Exellent con, no play comes with all pipes and actuator and has covered 52000 km. £250.. ready to bolt on..

Vf 23 won't spool quicker than a td 04 as the td04 can start hitting boost at 600 - 800 rpm earlier than a vf23 can due to it's much
smaller size. However it can deliver more mid range punch than the td04, so a well worth upgrade imho.

Checkout eBay : Danny 555 is selling a mint vf23, which you might get for decent money if your lucky. Tell him Ade said you' d sort him out
