im changing the oil in my gbox and diff this/next week. ive got a 96 jdm classic. does any one know if ther are any washers that need replacing like when doing the engine oil? also, is it just the gbox(3.5l/oil?) and rear diff(1.5l/oil?) i need to do.(front diff?)

i just changed the Gearbox oil in my 99 classic

I was advised to put in 4.1 litres but this was too much...... 3.5 litres is fine - no replacement washers

I cant comment on oil - I used redline shockproof as gearchanges were becoming harder to do and on changing I have no issues now

good to know i dont need a washer. stil havnt got rnd to getting it done yet, the workshop is a bombsite. maybe tomorrow!

there is a copper washer on the gearbox drain bung.
