whats your budget ?

my advice would be don't cut corners on something as important as ecu mapping, you will regret it if it totals your engine/turbo

i think i paid 500- 600 for mine, worth the money as its tuned to suit my engine and is not going to cause failure

Hi Mick (Copley)

Just out of curiosity I wonder why you need Simtek to run your 01 Bugeye WRX....I've got a bugeye running 400 ish BHP with quite a few mods and methanol injection and the DENSO ECU seems to cope pretty well

Mick......Bugeye misfire CEL's can be caused by faulty NPS Much cheaper to replace than buying a Simtek

In any case Opensource or EcuTeK will be more than satis for your mods.

if iti s not mapped for current mods then this maybe why..

agree remap of standard ecu would suit best, unless you wanted some of the simtek functions etc like 2maps and antilag for example.

show be no major difference between simtek and standard ecu remap power wise.

the simtek will drive smoother and may gain a small amount of power as the table definitions for fuel and ignition have finer resolution
