Looks ok bud, make sure you check the history, and all the paintwork for signs of accident damage. If it has PPP there should be a prodrive exhaust on the back end not the twin pea shooters as in the pic on autotrader ??. Good luck and hope the car is spot on for you ;-)

Best regards

Agreed. Probably not got the Prodrive pack with that exhaust.

Also not a 2003 model as advertised.

Think this one looks nicer: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...ge/2?logcode=p

Similar distance from you, I think.

The a-pillar radio mast marks it out as a 2001 Phase 1 bugeye.............twin peashooter exhaust = no PPP.

the person selling the car obv has no clue on what it is as selling it 1; a 2003 model, and 2; and ppp with that exhaust. tbh that would be enough for me to stay well clear. but good luck it what ever u decide to do

Go and have a look........ use the info from here to try and lower the price, if it's clean then have a punt. The miles are low

Just because the guy doesn't know what he's selling means that the car is a lemon ! looks like someone has tried to make it look a bit like a Uk300 (ish)

It's been removed now, wonder if it's sold or whether he's read this thread.

The car was in good condition, a minor dink on the rear wing on the passenger side, but otherwise nice. But a dink or two for a 9 year old car is expected.

Plan are to remap it, change the headlights and not sure about the rest yet.

Its my first ever performance car. Only been driving two years this is my car history

Old L reg Pu 107 - Died within 2 weeks due to head gasket
S reg Corsa 1.4 - Was crap got rid of it in 6 weeks
W reg Vectra 1.8 - Was so boring. Kept it 8 months.
MG ZS 120+ 1.8 - Kept it as it was about the best car I could insure with with 1 Year NCB for less than £1000. Had for 18months.
Just bought the scooby. So first performance car

Nice one

I started out with a bugeye WRX ........... actually I still have one LOL

get someone like racedynamix to re-map it, much cheaper than EcuTek and just as good for your needs

Eibach or prodrive springs, better discs / pads and some solid drop links at the rear and you are away
