Newbie - Hello - Head Unit Question
Hi,
My first post, hello.
After many years of humming and hawing I have purchased a 2002 WRX Wagon.
So far very happy with the performance but finding it difficult to re-adjust to turbo charged engines again, I spent many years with integrales but getting old(er) and having a family meant being sensible (Focus TDCi family car).
Head Unit question, the car is currently fitted with a OEM double DIN unit but the CD doesn't work (typically, the one thing I didn't check when buying the car).
There are a few Subaru double DIN units on eBay most of which look like they are from a later model (2003 onwards?)
The one I have is mainly black and doesn't have dials bit buttons for the volume control.
Will the later, mainly silver unit, fit and be plug and play in my car?
Any advice would be appreciated,
