Bonnet respray ...
Any good places in Berks that you can recommend that won't charge insurance job prices? Got a quote today for £350+VAT

^^ Switched my UK steel bonnet for a Jap ally one ... so much lighter!! Wrong colour though, black rather than dark blue. Only want the visible bit resprayed

company called black cat located by slough train station, when i went there i was a bit curious about leaving my pride and joy there, went in and was shown around the place and saw countless amounts of Ferraris, lambo's etc made my p1 look like a Mondeo lol they did my p1 roof and had both the sides done at the same time, well priced and they knocked vat off as i paid cash, will try and dig the detail out for you mate

How bad is the bonnet, just stone chips?
You could prep it yourself to save some time and money if you are handy with the wet and dry, also remove it and take it to them to spray it. If they are a decent shop they would paint it off of the car, there may well me time and also money factored into the quote(s) for this?!?

not fancy a new bonnet? im looking at a new classic facelift bonnet from fleabay @ £129 plus £145 for spraying. Thought that was a good price? doubt the bonnet is a genuine but seems to be good.
