Just out of curiosity what turbo would you recommend to get ftlb up from 420ftlb on map 1 pump fuel, i know the car will see 550-600 on map 2 with meth/nos. I know the 2.5's are more tourqey but had nothing but bad luck with them. More than happy with cdb 2.0. All supporting mods will hopefully cope with a fair bit more. Currently running GT30/P20. Trying to strike a happy balance, or is compromising out the window at this level?

Car primarily will be used for fast road, then track and hopefully sprinting later on when driving skills have improved!

Excellent buy Brad, as with all our builds, our heart and soul is in there somewhere, but that one holds a special place in mine. I drove it to Japfest and back a couple of years ago, drove it round Llandow circuit whilst having it's Japanese Performance feature and many times up the local 1/8th mile strips.

Whilst you could leave it well alone and just enjoy it for what it is, if you wish to change the turbo the S206 would be one option. It will bolt right on there with just one intercooler pipe to change as all the hard work has already been done to facilitate fitting the GT based hybrid currently on there.
The other option of course would be to go twisted and get a GT30 billet, more money but more potential too.
The only other thing I would recommend would be to change the Walbro in the swirl pot for a Bosch to ensure adequate pump pressure when turning the wick up.

Feel free to call if you have any questions.

Many thanks Martyn, what sort of ftlb figures would you expect to see from either of these turbos (map 1 and 2),boost level, and also a price for each one supplied fitted and mapped respective?

S206 is £1095 + vat + £180 for the downpipe. VPower only 470-480bhp @ 1.8 bar boost and 435-450 lbft. 20% meth and 2 bar should see well over 500bhp and close to 500lbft + however much nitrous you want to run.

Fitting is give or take £200 + vat and £60 an hour to map.

Allow £3000+ for the supplying and fitting a twisted kit.
