What would you do to these scumbags?
I think someone can't afford the car, but this way? (all panels are scrached)
anyway I need advice:
car is worth £2500, what will the insurance company do? write off?
I can respray the car for £500+paint at friends garage, should I tell insurance company about incident, I thinking about raised premium in the future and NCB is not protected.
what is the best way to cover these scratches temporary (touch-up paint and my "picasso" skills)?
cheers
I've lost the will to live

The paint needs protection from moisture in the air (which will cause rust) if anything, just use a touch up stick to seal the paint back up.
The thing with a full respray, you'll need to totally remove all plastic/rubber bits that meet the body work. This nearly always ends up in the plastic/rubber bits cracking, distorting, splitting due to age.
Think a vinyl wrap might be the way to go as it's cheap, and generally fitting has been honed to quite a good quality level now.
This is my opinion of course

£500 for a respray seems a decent price though and some insurance companies inflate your excess for vandal damage so probably best to get it sprayed and keep it quiet

Gutting fella, but get it sprayed and don`t tell insurance, as it`ll cost more.
But as said get some paint on those scratches in any colour as if it rusts your in a world of trouble.

Gutted for you, most of our Minor worst nightmares car related i guess, gutted !!
on a side note, seems an awful long winded way to vandal a car, underground car park protected by gates requiring a bit of effort to get in,if it were a normal NCP you can kind of accept it
keep those eyes peeled

Not good seeing a car like that.
Yeah seems like they went to too much trouble just to vandalise it.
It's not like they were just walking past as then you could put it down to jealousy/mindless vandalism.
