Doubt they will be cheap, but are they any good? depends on the model and year, but yes, better than the UK car but these wont have any warranty to back it up and will require a remap for uk fuel or octane booster and a KS3 knock analyser to be on the safe side.
I should add that the chances are these will be Spec C's, if you know nothing about these cars then do your homework, a fair few dont stay in owners hands very long nowerdays as they are a little "hardcore" and not the most comfortable car out there (no sound proofing, thinner glass, no underseal etc)

The new ones dont have a roof vent (hatchbacks)
Now if you mean these http://www.prodrive.com/up/Subaru%20...ard%202010.pdf well you have a fully fitted roll cage for grp N, it may affect your insurance a little
These will be the standard model btw.

The cars are for motorsport use only and require mandatory roll-cage installation before full UK registration will be provided.
It comes with the roll cage fitted, thats how they get them registered, motorsport use only.

Now you say its going to southern Ireland
Export is different, be warned that you may face some big taxes, I know they love these cars over there and it will need a remap for 95 ron fuel.

Yep Tony
Remap required and Southern Irish VRT will apply which I think is around 40% from memory.
