You can find the Supra movie on http://www.exvitermini.com.
The site did include the Max Power article, IIRC it was done on the 4-lane section of the A1 near Peterborough.
Not the most interesting of movies either.

Oh well .. press field about to be had.
Whether they did or not Max Power are saying they have had a evo upto 188 on the A1.
Just wait until the clamp down on all performance cars starts because we are all like it !

Its fast but not on public roads no matter what the time ... We have all driven fast at some time and maybe past the 3 figures. But to publish and glorify it ?

The Top Secret 1000bhp Supra was done in the UK, when they did the 190mph+ and was about 6 or 7 years back - when I was an avid MP fan 
Defo done in UK though, and not Japan.
