Default Finally found the one

Hi guys i joined a few weeks ago after selling my MR2 Turbo and have spent some time looking for the impreza that i wanted. I found a version 8 sti with a few tasteful mods the guy has just had it in for a pre check from a local garage and they say its a very nice example so will be going to pick it up tomorrow . Looking forward to the next meet so i can pop along and say hello to you all here is a pic of my motor.

Thanks for the comments guys. Here is a few of the mods:

APS Top Mount Intercooler
Turbosmart Dumpvalve
Race Dynamix Remap (1.4 Bar)
Defi Gauges (Boost, Oil & Water)
BC Racing Fully Adjustable Coilovers
3" Exhaust system including de-cat & downpipe

Only thing that annoys me is the Defi boost gauge keeps beeping and flashing warning when on full boost as the remap has only been recently done and the gauge is set at the preset warning value. Hopefully that will be easy to change

excellent mods.
similar to what is on my new car.

Do you have a anti lift kit fitted?.

if you don't, it just so happens that have a brand new CDF racing one in the for sale section...

shameless plug i know

If you stayed with the numbering then my MY03 would be a version 9, one of the reasons they dont use numbering anymore and just stick with model years and markets, so its an MY03 UK STI

This is where the V8 or V9 breaks down.

It is an early blob with the 100pcd.
