Default 17" STI alloys

Does anyone know what dealers do with the 17" STI rims removed from cars which get the PPP & wheels upgrade?

I'm about to buy an STI and I would like a spare set of 17" to put winter tyres on.

If a dealer did have a set of these rims what cost do you think the dealer would expect to sell them for?

I know Litchfield sell the 17" rims but would prefer to get some in the East Midlands and silver if possible.

if they are post 2005 alloys then you will pick some up off here cheaply or even ebay as if the tyres are not good on them they go for peanuts as they don't fit anything else

if its an 01-04 sti then u will need 5x100pcd and these sti alloys usually go for 250-300 plus depending on tyres condition etc

If you have the slight flair over the rear arches then your PCD will be 114, and just go on ebay and type sti alloys and presto, loads of em you may even get some alloys with tyres on for less than 400 quid (new sometimes )

Are the wheels 114 PCD?

What size tyres are they?

I have a set of silver std 2006 STi wheels with RE070 tyres down to about 2-2.5mm available from near Northampton.

Litchfields do them in silver as well as gold I was told today. £50 a corner + postage http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/s...product=LII012 I've seen worn wheels with damage go for more than that on ebay! I have a mint set I was looking at selling but I'll keep them as a spare set or put them back on the car when I sell it for that price!

These are on ebay, the tyres are worth this alone...silly money these wheels go for! The market appears to be saturated! Note the tyres are for 2008 onwards..bigger than 2005
