little advice req. wanting back in a scoob!!
Hi guys been registered on here since I bought my first impreza back in 2005 ish, after selling that after a year (23yr old - running costs were high for an apprentice!!!) ive not been back in one since. now im a bit older and wiser im after another classic, that and I just went with my mate to buy an sti v3 and it brought the memories back etc etc.
my old impreza was a 1993 wrx which was modified from japan , nowt ridiculous just one cat removed and exhaust may have been more mods but i didnt know
anyhoo to the main point, im looking to get another classic within the next few months and my budget is around the 4k mark, what can i roughly expect these days for that price?, ive noticed that good cond low mile classics are holding value more now as the numpties have blown the rough cheap ones up!!
mods id like to do include:
front mount (possibly)
remap (simtek ecutek apexi fc etc)
so cmon guys enough rambling by me whats my best option these days?
cheers
Phil

Try Pistonheads.
A V5/6 will be a better option as the ECU is easier to map. The older versions need new ECU's to get more BHP. Better brakes, interiors and if your lucky less mileage.
£4k is not much for a good V5/6 but you could get a tidy V3/4.

Filter your search on PH and there's loads there.
