Stupid question about clear indicators
#1
Received some clear front indicators from Scooby Mania, they are made by Auto Art.
I checked the plug on the car and it looks like a T shaped plug, the plug on the indicators is not. The car is a 95 STI, any help/advice gratefully received,
Regards,
Andy

I found the same. I just dismantled the connectors and soldered the old ones on instead. I wonder if it is an import thing as mine is a 93 WRX. Working fine now though (with security bolts fitted as someone has already attempted to nick them!)

Mutant - the bolts are removable but you need a security key to remove them. Bit like an allen key with a hardened post in the middle.
Andy - I didn't cut any wires, I just carefully removed the metal connectors from the plastic casing and swapped them over. It is reversible should I ever need to put the old ones back. I know what you mean though, why should I have had to do this? I just couldn't be arsed to send them back and wait another 6 weeks for some that did fit

Mr H, if you fit security bolts, does that not mean that even you cannot take them off again? How do you replace the bulb?
Matt.

Cheers for that Charlie. I just find it a bit annoying when Scooby Mania say ' we've sold loads of these for WRX's, they fit fine'
Cutting wires is not fitting fine in my opinion.

Er Guys...
We fit 10+ sets a week.
Remove the bulb holder from your old light unit, swap the bulb and put it in your clear indicator.
Ther you go, sorted, even though you bought them from someone else
