Camskill...bloody annoyed!!!

Camskill...bloody annoyed!!!
As above...to be honest im bloody annoyed with them,ive used them before with great service but yesterday paid them £407 for 4 vreddy ultracs only to come home tonight to find an email from saying they are out of stock for 3 weeks.......i think its a cheek to advertise something thats not in stock,take your money and ask if its ok to wait 3 weeks!!!!!!....i ordered them coz i want them now, not in 3 weeks!!!!!!!........all they needed to do was update the website saying out of stock and i would have chosen a different tyre.......now i stuffed with no tyres for the weekend......great!!
I used them coz of their usually lightning delivery but find myself with a car i cant use from being let down by them.....Thanks Camskill for ruining my weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whilst not taking anything away from your frustration .. I used them recently and I am sure they do not charge your card until they have the items in stock / have sent them on to you.

what size? I've always found http://www.blackcircles.com/ are very good. I've just fitted Falken Ziex ZE-912 and I'm very happy with them, the tread pattern looks exactly the same as the Dunlop sport 01. There was deals on Goodyear eagles as they were end of line! The Falken FK-452 looks nice!!

As with stock issue, as tyres can sell so fast, ive allways rang 1st. Might be worthy of making a note for the future.

same here, and yes you are right, if they cannot provide within 5 working days they give you option for refund or somehting else....its in small print on email you recieve.

Was happy to buy these again but heard such good things about the vreds i thought id spend the extra and give them a go

Camskill sell rather a lot of tyres, perhaps if it was imperative you have them by the weekend you should have phoned 
On the basis you can order 24/7 online stock levels aren't always going to be accurate to be fair Annoying, granted but chill out dude they still offer the cheapest tyres around so worth the occasional fk up to have them.

As far as Im aware, you cant order over the phone. I might be wrong though.
I have always had top service from Camskill, tyres never fail to arrive at most 24 hrs after ordering. Falken FK452 are my budget tyre of choice also.

I think Nathan is the guy who runs the tyres dept at Camskill, ive only had a few dealings him direct and each time has been fine. Mike on parts in the guy I use to use frequesntly with a Mitsi, and 3 scoobs and every time has been fine. I once order some rear polyflex anti rolls which didnt fit which turned out to be a packaging fault, they thanked me for brining this to their attention and send me the right part, got to keep the wrong part which was front antis, So i was very happy at the end result.
I take it the car is off road now with illegal tyres for you to be so pissed?
Im sure its a minor oversight that the web site has them in stock. Im sure their web is not intergrated into their sales, therefore if they sold the last 4 tyres just before you ordered yours then they may not have got round to updating their website.

Well according to camskills reputation "theres always one like you aint there"......
They have always been 100% reputable in my experience, and you seem to be coming across as a snotty customer who would only be happy if the earth was moved...
Surely if you had no tyres maybe you should have planned things a tad better.....

Im not a snotty customer at all,just feel its a little unfair not to mention they are on backorder and out of stock.......nearly every other website clearly state when products are out of stock......i know camskill have a good reputation as ive used them before but just a little dissapointed that ive been inconvenienced the way i have been.
Simple website updating could have avoided this situation in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!

Out of stock until the end of June..
Rang the kind people at www.mytyres.co.uk and asked about availabilty of the vreddy's, all in stock and yes they do have plenty of stock, free delivery too, £100 each or it was when I ordered mine Friday..
