Default Ksports

I'm researching the next brakes for the wagon and I've come to the conclusion that the Ksports package represents a very good deal - only ever heard good things. Anyone running them? Advice. Other packages? I know there are several other kits, but I'm after realworld feedback from non-track users.

I did post in the brakes section but not a lot of realword advice there - lack of viewings I suspect. Either that or the brakes are not not a popular upgrade?

Cheers for any thoughts

I've done similar research, and for a fast road car you can't go wrong with these. Admittedly APs are much better, but they do cost a lot more. The K-sports from what I have found will even stand up to occasional track-use and you can get uprated pad for them quite easily

They are a popular upgrade, and that is where my money will go if I ever save enough up

Duncan aka Dynamix uses them in conjunction with PF discs and pads on his Time Attack car so they must be ok for "occasional track use"

Remembering of course that his car will be a smidge lighter than a road car

That's my conclusion too. It's a lot of kit for the money and people say good things. I'll get to ordering in the next week or so. Ksport website looks the best price wise.

Which pads are you running?

I'll probably stick to the k-sport ones to start with.

Dont bother with the K-sport pads.......Perfomance Friction,Ferrodo, etc will be a better choice.

I have the K-Sport 6 pot with DS2500 and find them spot on...on a stripped out classic ra though...

Agree that the ferodo or PF pads will be better, but for what I need that may be an extra expense that is not warranted. The kit comes with k-sport pads, so I'll assess them for my needs and upgrade as required.

i run front and rear k-sports on my newage, and been really impressed with them.

I did want some Endless or Project MU's, but the price of the K-sports made them a seriously attractive package, so i went with them.

And they havent let me down in anyt way yet, track days, Ring trips, spirited driving, and thats with the 'rubbish' k-sport original pads, so i should eb even more impressed with them once i fit some decent pads!!

PS, anyone got part numbers for the various pads available??
