The Greddy Profec is a boost controller, this allows you to increase the boost levels in the car past factory levels. things such a gain setting and other little bits can be tweaked helping give a much smoother and more progressive boost curve as well.

The Apexi power FC is a standalone ECU... this will allow you to take it to a Specialist and get the whole car remapped with the new unit. it will need professionally wiring in and mapping but can give great gains over stock as advanced fueling can be altered as well as timing.

So in short yes both are good but considered you don't know what there are indicates your knowledge isn't great on them so might be an idea to do some googling to see costs of installation and whether you actually need them for your benefit.

hope that helps a little mate

JGM widely praised on this forum. As you don't know how to use them best not to fiddle until you have been educated.

Depends where you are, most mappers will travel if there is a group to do.
I would recommend Jollygreenmonster, but there are a few mappers on here who will come highly recommended

you dont really need to remap your car for no reason... have you added any mods recently? or dependant on how old the current map is (when it was actually mapped) it might be worth getting it remapped as car tolerances and condition change etc

the Boost controller wont be mapped as such, it probably wont even be altered as i cant imagine your boost levels will be changed.
