Default FUEL PUMP PROBLEM?????

Hey guys hows it going? My car is a 1996 sti v3 redtop!

Recently when ive parked the car in the garage and turned it off with the turbo timer set to 1minute then engine off!

The problem is that when i take the keys out to let the turbo timer run its minute, the car turns off after like 5 seconds after the keys are out!Could it be something to do with the fuel pump?? Not feeding fuel properly?! Another thing ive notcied is ive lost power which makes me think could have fuel pump tiredness???!

Help from all yous exerienced scooby owners would be much appreciated!

Thanks Guys, Adrian

if your fuel pump was cutting out it would shut off a bit differently to just turning the ignition off, if that makes sense, splutter splutter kinda off not just off like ignition off

(i would of thought, anyway)

i mean, the car runs fine normally doesnt it

maybe faulty turbo timer ?
