cos he scraped/dented my scoob that I've only had 1 month.

Scraped/proper dented front wig
scraped front/side bumper
Cracked indicator light (do I need to replace ALL of the headlight if so how much )

Got a mate who works for bodyshop to get a quote from - the idiot didn't leave any details. I live in a permit only parking area so had a quick look around other people's cars (happened between half 11 last night and 5pm today) but looks like I will have to cough up.

Really pee'd off - never had this happen to me and I've been driving for 9 years. Now I know why other scooby owners hate other car owners....

Thanks stann.... on my way to a dent man to at least get dent removed as it's a nice clean one.

 

Oops...

- Dent man can possibly sort the panel and the bumper, depending on the damage to the bumper. If it's just scuffed, I reckon he can do both. If it's cracked, might require further TLC.

Indicators... Reckon it's not much to obtain a classic indicator or two. Shame you're not closer as I have a set of crystals I haven't fitted. Has to be said the fit of them on my car wasn't the best. Hence their return to the box.

The dent man was brilliant - £20 to fix wing dent (we had a good natter as we're both scottish) just needs a bodyshop respray now as it's only scuffs.

 

Is your car this shape? and by indicator i take it you men the one by the headlamp?

 

Yup indeed 97 silver classic. thought about upgrading lights anyway to crystals or similar.

That thing next to the headlamp is a side light not an indicator.
The indicator is the orange thing just below the headlamp.

Also there is a indicator repeater on the wings...

 

oops lol sidelight then! adam said I have the new shape 97 facelift. however can find sidelights 92-00 which are a standard fit - didn't realise they are all slightly different ?!?!

my own front end won't fit on the camera lol

you need a crystal sidelight, the one i have isnt crystal unfortunatly. still waiting for your front end pic though lol

 

thanks I thought it was just a clear? think it's the way the sun is shining on it - the drivingn lights are crystal only.
