Default Whats a "54" plate Impreza with the PPP bhp??

Hi just wondering what a "54" plate PPP runs at bhp wise???
Only reason i'm asking is i had a little play with a fella how has one in my standard Classic STi V4 (JDM) and he couldn't keep up with me. Must have been 15-20 car lengths by the time i got to my 180kph limit. When talking to him he seemed very suprised he couldn't keep up. It was the same colour as a WR1 but unsure if it was a WR1.

WR1 320bhp (claimed..some say an optimistic value)
2004 UK STI PPP 301bhp (also claimed)

Some PPP cars have reportedly only made 285 on the rollers, with others making 310... good ones and bad ones and a generic map.

He should have

to pull 15 car lengths you'd need to be producing a minimum of 100bhp more.....

If your V4 is standard then he needs to get his looked at.

A "WRX 54 plate with PPP" would run at 245BHP.

I thought the 03-05 plate newage WRX is 225BHP standard, with PPP 265BHP? The classic turbo 200 made 245BHP with PPP.

Newage STi's aren't particularly quick period! PPP is morelike 280-290 max, you need a minimum 320bhp n torque n from a proper mapping session to keep up with a classic STi scoob. Remember they are alot heavier than the classics.

My old 05 STi PPP was 299.6 (no mods, no remap) on Noble Motorsports rollers... they do vary

........... the PPP figures are released as "PS" and not BHP AFAIK

For the Blob UK 2.0L With PPP I'd stick with about 250 BHP .......... ish LOL

Mike Wood stated in a post why the PPP can show lower figures on dyno's, this is down to the enhanced safety features for boost/inlet temp control (or something like that) so it retards more easily on rolling roads and in stationary traffic than a custom mapped car.
I have seen PPP cars run more than their stated power on more than one occasion, but on the road they should pull their full 300+ bhp

Classic produced 237bhp and 258ft/lb on the ppp on paper, although my rb5 produced 260bhp and 250ft/lb with just a blitz nur spec on
