Milltek exhausts?
After having a full turbo back system from Milltek on my old Golf GTI, and knowing how great it was, I was just wondering if anyone is running their gear on their Scooby, and what they thought of them in comparison to other systems out there.
If not Milltek, who else is good?

I have the slightly smaller bore catted milltek with center resonated section. Its got the burble and is not loud at all until on full throttle/high revs. Out of all the "performace" scooby exhausts I have heard I think its one of the nicest to live with for an everyday road car.
I do still like the sound of the original scoobysport exhaust as well.
I suggest you get yourself along to a local meet/event and have a listen to a few if in doubt.

Whether or not you get the burble depends on which headers you have. Basically, if you have a UK car you will have the burble, if it's a JDM you will have a BLARE when you put your foot down.
My car has a 2.75" system, and I think it's reasonably quiet for pootling, and sounds very business-like when trying hard

Whether or not you get the burble depends on which headers you have.
Model year on model year the headers are the same regardless of whether it is UK or Jap.
If you fit tubular headers of a more equal length than the original Subaru exhaust manifolds the exhaust note has less burble and if you fit equal length headers there is no burble and it sounds like a Suzuki GSX-R 1100 or similar.
If you want to retain the burble then retain the OE headers and have them ported if you wish but the Jap and UK cars will sound the same.

I have a full3" Milltek on my Blobeye.
Its not particularly loud, but gives a lovely burble.
Prior to the Milltek I had a Prodrive system.
That was subtle too, but the Milltek is better still.
I can't recommend the Milltek enough....Bob
