Default what is this?

i am abit confused as to what this part is just beneath the strut brace (shiny silver)...i no its to do with the fuel system...maybe a inline pump??? the 3rd pic is where it connects to..any help would be great!

does it have any electrical wires???? if not i would be tempted to say inline filter of some sort

no electrical wires
it just has 2 pipes with 1 coming from the back (prob tank) and 1 pipe going to the IN on the cannister type filter

then it will be some sort of inline filter. nothing else it can be really.

thanks bud i thought it was some inline filter but wasnt sure...im not going to worry about it 2 much lol

That is your fuel filter in pic 3, just can't understand why it would have another filter before this??????????????????

i dont understand myself...the shiny ''filter'' has a hose from it to the fuel filter
maybe it has 2 filters for extra filtering

Could be some sort of gimmicky thing, 'fuel saver' or 'fuel catalyst' or something.

May be time to treat the car to a new fuel filter by the looks of it

Yeah one of those extra BHP fuel conditioner gimmicky things. I have 10 on mine giving an extra 100 bhp. Yeah.

Are they really that good and accurate mate? Not sure my driving ability could cope with 10 of them!!.......... you must be awesome I might order myself 5 though LOL

you should invest in one of them dodgy 50 pence resisters that you put in your maf sensor as a supporting mod lol im sure a member was trying to flog them on here not so long ago they add 25 bhp you know

think im going to take it off,going grahame goode on saturday to get braided hose so going to replace fuel lines...didnt have a clue what this lot were on about,they can have it for free if it gets them that wet
