yol! which has the quicker spool up time td05 or vf34?

 

VF34, though there wont be much in it, I take it you mean a TD05 16g and not the 18 or 20g?
VF34 is a roller bearing low friction turbo, TD05 is a sleeve type turbo.

ive had both on my car, and the vf34 starts to spook alot quicker and reaches full boost quicker,

td05 is more of an aggressive kick later in the rev range

vf34 kicks in very quick and makes a smother driving car...

 

so on a slow rolling start which car would be quicker over maybe a thousand yards or so?

ok. waldro fuel pump, yellow injectors, 3" hayward & scott, fmic, remap etc

 

Strictly speaking the VF Turbo will pick up earlier but I doubt there will be much in it at the end

 

the vf is alot quicker at take off, top end is about the same pal...
