Vortex fins
I have decided to fit some vortex fins to the roof of the car. Done a lot of research on them and have had a look at so many different types. After some thought i decided to go with these

The reason i went for these is because i have read a few reports about the full strip ones coming off and i am sorry but i don't like the idea of that!!! However i know this may be down to incorrect fitting.
I do however have a question for anyone who has the ones i have bought. Have you used the standard sticky pads that come in the pack to fit these down or have you used something else and if so what. I know if these come off they can't cause much damage, but i don't fancy them coming off at all.
Thanks
Rob

I like the look of these but there does not seem to be a UK supplier. The link to Demon Tuning in Lichfield is broke. Do you know of another UK supplier. Postage cost to buy from the US is crazy.

I have a strip of fins that I fitted myself. I followed all of the instructions provided but didn't use the sticky strips they sent as they didn't seem much kop. Instead I got some good quality 3M double-sided tape from Halfords and used most of it!
I havn't had any problems whatsoever even driving at high speed. Good preperation is the key!

Using Tiger Seal will make sure they don't come off. I imagine just the 3M sticky pads they come with would be perfectly ok for them though, as above, preperation is the key.
