I have read the other thread and i can see why this has been done, it just seems unfair to Full/Blue members who conduct themselves in a proper manner.

I understand the need to protect members from being ripped off but a lot of people will miss out when impreza owners turn to Ebay instead of this forum both sellers and buyers.

Anyone with a paid subscription should be able to access the forums and post new threads.
Non paying members can still access the forums and post within threads, but will not be able to post new threads advertising things i.e. they can buy but not sell!

I'm the same here.
I've just paid for the Snet+ membership and still do not have the required permission to post on the for sale sections....any chance you could sort mine out too????
Cheers,
Phil

I can see that mattybr5 above my post has a "FOR SALE" with a tick next to it.
Can a moderator turn on that function for me, is that what's missing in my permissions?

I've now got access to post on the Private For Sale - Car Parts & Accessories section, but still not on the Private For Sale - General section.
This is a bugger because I've got a non-car item I need to sell, but don't want to incorrectly post it up on a car part section???
Help please Stu .

OK guys, looks like we've got some user permissions issues going on.
Its a bit late/early to sort thing right now, but to expediate things if you are a current PAYING member of SN and can't post in the relevent sales section can you copy/paste the following list and add your name:
mattybr5
MilleniumRacer
Luther

The conspiracists`s amongst us will be thinking scoobynet "owners" have been willing scams for a long time to now charge to sell on the forum,i can see being a paid up member system to be good to allow them only access to the for sale, but charging those said member again to sell, hmm
anyhoo,no more scams on scoobynet !!
