Ok so the question was a little misleading. I meant what number from one through to three hundred. Not number one of three hundred. Although I wish it was number one!!

So now can anyone help??

don't think they were individually numbered

there's no mention in the brochure of them having an individual numbered plaque like other special editions

http://www.subaru-impreza.org/downlo...eza-wrx300.pdf

if it had one, it would no doubt be around the gearstick or centre console like the other specials

That is what I thought but no sign. Just that someone is trying to sell one on ebay and says it is number 15. Just wondered if I could find out what number mine was or whether he was telling porkies.

send the guy a message asking him how he knows what number it is?

or try ringing Subaru UK or Prodrive?

Mine is number 6, came with a free 6 foot tall bouncy ball.

seriously though... Ive never found a number on mine, just a prodrive certificate and trackstar mumbo jumbo.

this is quite interesting actually so why are alot of limited editions numbered that are made a plenty if you like then some that are far more rare should we say as less produced dont have a number??
is it just me or does this seem a bit strange!!

i have a wrx sti prodrive style and there apparently was only a 1000 of these made worldwide as its a worldwide limited edition not just uk but these dont appear to have a number either!!

There is a difference between the JDM Prodrive style car (which was a limited edition model for the japanese market) and the UK ones (which were not really limited so dont have a number, just limited to 1500 cars for the UK at launch of which 750 were Prodrive style and 750 none prodrive style).
The rest of europe had their own allocations of these cars.

Still... the WRX300 is a true limited edition (300 cars) without a numbering system.
http://drischnie.homeip.net/www.suba...ENG.htm#wrx300

The European market had a similar car but under the name SWRT edition, but no prodrive performance pack.

Ditto although I am sure this is BS as its the "Option code" on the VIN.
