Default what should i do thoughts please

I have just bought a blob sti ppp which i love to bits but i still have got my 99 classic which is mapped to 270/270 i had this done last may by paul at zen performance, it has 78k on the clock i only run the car in the summer so never goes out in the winter i am a really big fan of the classic as always have been since the mid nineties it wont get used much now as intend using the blob all the time now but i dont really want to get rid but the mrs says i should . but i love my classic turbo to, help any advise please .

Hmmm tough one, in my opinion then blob sti is the best scoob, so maybe you should now move on and sell the classic (god, it sounds like I'm referring to the end of one relationship and the beggining of another!) But then again you are attached to it....
Well if you sell it then regret it in a year's time or something you can always buy another..

i would say sell and if not happy buy another, however i have sold a car and really regreted so bought another but you will never get the same as you had. nothing lasts forever so weigh it up classic-blob or mrs lol

Talk the missus round. Tell her it's a modern classic collector's item, and if looked after should make a solid inflation-proof investment that you could hand down to the lad/lass when they've grown up, unlike banks and shares that can go totally t*ts-up and lose billions like they did recently,blah blah ...

good idea i'm not sure it will work but i can try , my mate did this with his cossie it worked for him lol

Just been through exactly the same scenario!. But i bought another classic with PPP . Sold the old one of flea bay I do get attached to my cars especially when they don't let you down.

I think of them as an extension of my own body. (or is that something else?)

i want to keep the scoob but also want a alfa gt jtd
wife wants me to sell scoob to get alfa
its causing friction for sure lol

Thats a good idea too maybe if i keep it covered up for a while she might forget its there lol lol . one good thing is i need to get it mot ed and that means changing the front cat and i might just not have enough time to do that as she wants a conservatory building this summer. mmmm i keep thinking of good excuses lol.
